Selling your car after you have hopefully enjoyed owning it can be a daunting business. You may not have the time or energy to get around to it, or you may not know where to start......we can help! We are always looking out for classic cars of all descriptions to purchase. OUTRIGHT PURCHASE This is probably your quickest way. If you give us a ring and tell us what you have got to sell and as good a description as possible is the best place to start. We will then need to see the car as condition is often then most important factor. We may suggest if the car is roadworthy you bring it along and let us have a look. If its not that easy or roadworthy we can usually arrange to get to see it fairly quickly. We try to make decisions there and then. Payment can either be by cash or cheque straight away, no messing about! COMMISSION SALE If selling your car fills you with dread at the thought of dealing with buyers, where to advertise, how to prepare your car, then we can help and do it all for you. We will give your car an honest appraisal and discuss with you the best way of preparing the car. Sometimes its a simple question of valeting, other times spending a small amount of money, eg re-MoTing a good car but with short MoT or sorting out a few minor problems pre-sale can make all the difference. Some of the advantages are:- We advertise it on the internet including our own website, on the forecourt, and we advertise in the press, including monthly national classic car magazines amongst others. We will handle all the calls, enquiries and viewings. We have trade insurance and trade plates so we can do test drives without you needing the extra expense of re-insuring and re-taxing the car. We will advise you the best way to get the best price, but at the same time be realistic enough so the car actually sells. You will get the use of our experience and expertise. Commission:- this is either based on a minimum basic fee + VAT, or a percentage of the sale price + VAT. These fees may vary sligthly depending on the value of the vehicle.
